Each 9mm DOE Upper Receiver is built from a forged A1 non-forward assist upper, featuring 9mm-calibrated rear sights, a gas deflector, and a vintage-correct port cover. Every component is chosen for authenticity and functionality — capturing the true character of the original design while meeting modern performance expectations.
Barrels are precision-turned from 1:10 twist 9mm blanks using both manual and CNC machining. Chambered in 9mm Luger, each bore is hard chrome plated for longevity, then finished with manganese phosphate (Parkerizing) after laser part marking.
Uppers are offered with either Colt magazine-compatible or Glock magazine-compatible bolts. The muzzle can be ordered in the traditional non-threaded style or threaded in 1/2x28 or 1/2x36 with a knurled thread protector.
The flip-up front sight locks solidly with crisp mechanical engagement, while the integrated hand stop provides a positive forward reference.
